Our Basic plan is our most cost effective entry into Instagram growth. It is fully automated and just like most other services, you are responsible for providing the targeting and audience research through hashtag, username and location targeting. Though it is essentially an unmanaged plan, it still uses our proprietary software and is much more effective than any app or self-administered Instagram growth software. Though we promote it as an entry level plan, it can also be effective for experienced Instagram users that already know exactly who their audience is.

What is the sign up process?

After signing up, you will be directed to a customer intake form on which you can tell us your social account information, your goals and needs, any specific competitors or related accounts, and any other important information.

When we connect your Instagram account to our system Instagram may ask to verify the connection or require additional security checks. You will receive an email to guide you through this process.

That’s it! Now sit back and relax with the knowledge that a dedicated team of professionals will be handling your social media growth from here on out. How many followers will I get?

It depends on several factors such as your account age, how much activity you have on your account now, your niche and the quality of your content. For Instagram we generally see at the low end around 1,000 real followers per month, and at the high end around 10,000 new followers per month. Our goal is to get you as many as possible so we will offer suggestions on improving your profile and posts to maximize your growth.

Is the service safe?

Yes! We operate within the constraints of your social media account’s daily allowable actions, and adjust your growth program based on factors such as the age of your account and its current level of followers and interactions. While our service is running, if you do hundreds of likes, comments or follows on your own, you may find that your account will be temporarily blocked from performing a specific action.  This is why we recommend that you limit these actions to a normal amount… a few here, a few there. The block for performing the specific action may last 3 to 24 hours.  We monitor your account for these temporary blocks and will pause your campaign during this period to let your stats reset.  After your stats reset, your account will once again function as normal. Anytime you notice blocked actions on your accounts, we ask that you contact us as well.

Are my new followers real people?

Yes! Liked Lab provides a managed, organic growth service, and your new followers are people who are genuinely interested in you and your content. To retain these new followers long term, it’s important to interact with them and keep posting compelling content on a regular basis.

Will my new followers disappear if I cancel the service?

No! Your new followers are real people interested in you and your content, and we have no control over them. They are all yours, and if you continue posting great content, they will stay with you forever.

Will I lose my current followers and followings?

No! Our service doesn’t affect your current followers at all.

During the customer intake process you will have the opportunity to choose what to do with the people that you currently follow.  (Followers are people that follow you, followings are the people you follow.)

You can choose to protect, or “whitelist”, ALL your current followings. This means that we will not unfollow or interact with them in any way. This is great when your following list is small and consists of people you only really want to follow.

Or you can choose to only whitelist certain accounts of your choice, for instance family members or accounts that you really love. Then all the other following accounts not listed may at some point be unfollowed.

Why would you want to unfollow people? You just don’t want to follow too many people because it’s bad for your engagement rating. This is the rating that advertisers use to determine that value of a social media account. If you want to be an influencer and get paid for your posts, you need to keep watch of this rating.

Your follower/following ratio is one of the most important factors that advertisers look at when determining your value of an influencer. It’s great to have 30,000 followers, but if you are also following 5,000 people that is a big negative, and also a clear sign of account manipulation… the hallmark of some of our competitors in the social media growth business.

So we always look at your engagement rating as we create your growth strategy, and continuously monitor these factors as we grow your account too.

Can I still use my account when on your service?

Yes! Our service runs in the background, and you have full access to use your account as you normally would.  We would suggest not doing hundreds of likes, comments or follows per day on your own, because our service will already be maximizing you daily allowable actions.

How will I receive my analytics report?

Analytics reports are emailed weekly as a PDF, along with a link to view it online. In the near future, the reports will be available inside your Liked Lab account page.

What costs are covered in your Promotions program?

The Promotions and Advertising program covers all the labor involved in producing and managing your campaigns. Essentially, any direct expenses are paid by you. For example, if we run a Facebook ad using content from within your Liked Lab program, the only expense you will incur is the direct fee from Facebook. If you decide to hire an influencer to promote your brand, you will only be responsible for the direct fees and expenses charged by the influencer. If we run a contest or giveaway, you will only be responsible for the cost of the prize and shipping to the winner. How much content can I send with the Content Management program?

As much as you want! The idea is to keep your social profiles consistently updated with fresh content. However, there are some guidelines to keep in mind. First, the key to strong content is QUALITY, not quantity. You want your followers to be excited about what you’re posting and looking forward to what’s coming next. Boring, generic, low-quality images or off-topic posts can actually do more harm than good. Second, you don’t want to post TOO much content either. More than a few posts a week on Instagram, or more than once a day on Facebook may feel spammy to your followers, and you could actually see a drop in engagement. However, on Twitter, several times a day is fine. In general, we recommend 1 to 3 great posts a week on Instagram, up to 5 posts a week on Facebook, 1 to 3 a day on Twitter, 1 a week on LinkedIn, 1 a day on Pinterest and Tumblr and 1 a week on YouTube. But these are only general guidelines, and it’s important to keep track of your engagement so you know what works best for you and your followers.

Where do you get the content for your Content Creation program?

Our content comes from many different sources and depends on your needs. In general, the photo and video content will come from stock agencies or directly from individual photographers and videographers. Our illustrators and motion graphics artists will then customize the videos and photos with color treatments, graphics and effects to individualize it for your brand. Our artists also create totally original text/effect posts for you as well. We also offer written content as an extra paid service from our in house and freelance writers (see FAQ below) .  You will be able to order both written, and additional visual content, from your account page.

Can I ask for changes to my content?

Of course! We understand how important your brand is, and we work with you to generate the best content possible. During the intake process, we will create a visual style guide for your brand, and all the content we produce for you will use this for a foundation. In addition, before posting any content, we will send it to you for approval. You may request a change or even ask to try something else completely.

Can I order totally original content?

Of course! Liked Lab started as an advertising production company making photos and videos for clients of all sizes, all around the world. We have decades of experience with every kind of visual content you can think of, and producing photography and television commercials is still a big part of our business today. We have offices and studios in both Los Angeles and Mexico City, and we can even come to you! So, send us your brief or just tell us what you are looking for, and we will provide you with a quote.

Do you offer written content and blog posts?

Yes, we do! We have professional writers who can create compelling blog posts with strong SEO on just about any topic. There is an additional cost for this service depending on your needs and subject matter, and they can be purchased right from your account page. In general, a short, simple blog post of 400 words will cost around $80. A longer, more complex post of 500 to 700 words may cost around $200. Once you provide us with your desired length and subject matter, we will give you the final cost. Turnaround time is usually one week for the first draft and another week for revisions. Who will respond to comments on my social media? What will they say?

We work with you during the intake process to build a response guide that fits the tone of your brand, and your account manager will be responding to comments on your social media in that voice. If you have a more serious B2B service, the responses are more business-like. If your brand is young and fun, then we keep the responses playful and loose. In general, for positive comments, our responses could be a simple thank you, and we may point the user to a special promotion or some of your brand’s other content. If the user brings up a good point, positive or negative, we most likely will run the comment by you to come up with an appropriate response. We run all complaints by you before responding to make certain they are dealt with in the most effective way possible.

Can I change which artists are on your service?

Yes!  We understand that your agency’s roster may change occasionally.  New models may come into town, others may leave.  Or you may take on a new artist that needs an Instagram boost, while another artist may even move to a different agency.  That’s why we allow you to occasionally change the artists you elect to be on our service at no additional charge.

Are the new followers real people?

Yes! Liked Lab provides a managed, organic growth service, and your artist’s new followers are people who are genuinely interested in them and their content. To retain these new followers long term, it’s important to interact with them and keep posting compelling content on a regular basis.

For a number of reasons, we do not recommend buying fake followers as a quick fix to your artist’s lack of following. Most importantly, an account with fake followers can be easily detected, and it’s just not worth the embarrassment and risk to reputation.

Will I lose my current followers/followings?

No, our service does not affect your current followers at all. And all the people your artist is currently following will be “whitelisted” so that our service will not interact with them in any way.

Please keep in mind that your artist’s follower/following ratio is a critical factor in their engagement rating. Advertisers look at this rating to determine an Instagram profile’s value. You don’t want your artist to follow too many people because it is bad for their engagement rating. We will assess your artists engagement rating as we develop your growth strategy and will make suggestion on how it can be improved.
